Engine Failure That Killed Southwest Passenger Unleashed Barrage of Debris on Airliner

Two Southwest Airlines flight attendants and two passengers were responsible for pulling passenger,¬†Jennifer Riordan back into the airplane after she was partially pulled out of the window during a rapid decompression of the jetliner, according to an update issued today by the National Transportation Safety Board. But American Airlines Flight 383, a Boeing 767 routed from Chicago to Miami was on its takeoff roll on Friday afternoon when passengers reported a loud¬†explosion quickly followed by black smoke and fire just outside the right side of the aircraft. “People are yelling, ‘Open the door!
